Skip Jones, President

Skip worked for ADT in the Core Commercial Division starting in 1993 through 1996. Skip started the systems division for First Response in 1997 and grew that company to 250 commercial accounts within two years. In 1999, Skip became a consultant and systems engineer for Action Technology Systems where he enjoyed significant success working to provide solutions for National Gas Pipeline and many other large corporations. Skip with two partners started SDC, a complete solution provider for the railroad, banking and national pipeline industries, along with distribution and support of video products nationally. Acquiring significant knowledge in the video and access control areas, Skip started Pixel in 2004 with his business partner Keith Nelson. Together, they have built Pixel into the company it is today, working with large and small companies to provide state-of-the-art solutions for their clients as well as possessing substantial monitoring and maintenance contracts with their valued clients.

Keith Nelson, Vice President

From a very young age Keith has been involved with computers. In 1999 he pursued his interest in computers by taking Cisco networking classes (CCNA). Through the Cisco classes he was awarded an internship with a DVR manufacturer. Starting with the company in 2001 as a computer building technician he worked his way up the ranks; by the time he left in 2004 he was the lead technician. Keith was responsible for overseeing production, specifying all of the computer components, R&D and technical support. Through his experience supporting security dealers he learned that most of them are not computer savvy. With the industry moving to computer based DVRís and now to Network Cameras he saw a need for a security company with an IT background. He then left to join forces with Skip Jones and form Pixel LLC. His favorite part of his new position is coming up with solutions for difficult situations.
